While working on the woven rope project I periodically took few early examples to the Allied Arts Association’s gallery, the Gallery at the Park. This is the gallery where I had my 2023 show and where I keep a collection of loose ropes on display. In December of 2025 I was pleasantly surprised when someone from the gallery called and told me I had been selected to receive their Szulinski Craftsman Award for 2025. This honor included the opportunity to display the three boxes shown at the top of this page, together with three of my rectangular wall pieces in the main gallery for the month of January 2026, as part of the Tri-City Quilters’ Guild show.
