Philip Edward Harding

Most of the works in this series use an underlying structure to organize organic, fractal, or chaotic forms. Many of the patterns grew out of sketchbook exercises in abstraction developed over the previous six or seven years. In hindsight some of the images are also related conceptually to a series from the 1990s I had refered to as my "Irregular shape series."
