Digitally colored drawings

In 2014 I started taking scans of line drawings and adding color in Photoshop. I was so pleased with the results that it ended up becoming a major new area of my creative activity. I have made some into limited edition prints but those on this page have only been printed as 13" x 19" proofs or open edition prints. The exception being a large series of mandalas that I've also been using for craft fair items such as coasters, pendants, and note cards.

Mandalas
Date: 2009 drawing, colored in 2014
Media: Colorized ink line drawing

The Three mandalas included here were early versions of what would become a major series. They started with 14 different line drawings that then hundreds of color variations. To see another 30 of the early versions click here. To see some of the most recent variations click here. I have presented some as stand alone 12" x 12" open edition prints. Still more have been applied to items like coasters, pendants and note cards.
